Last year we sucked at home and were money on the road. SO FAR, it's the exact opposite. We already know we can win on the road, and if this homestand is any indication, we may have rediscovered our home mojo..... Man....look out.....the rest of the season could really be fun....
He's definitely closer material. I wouldn't mind that at all. Osuna, however, would definitely object.
Osuna is fantastic as a closer and Pressly is fantastic exactly where he is. I love being so good that all we can really discuss is hypothetically fixing something that isn’t broken. : )
Puts on tin foil hat.....there are 171 service time days left starting tomorrow. Alvarez time baby! This post is a joke and should not be construed as what the Author actually thinks. Unless it happens.
And...knowing how the Astros mislead us on injuries , Bergman is hurt a bit more than they thought, so they need another hitter as they put Yuli at third and White/Diaz at first.
In other news, with 2 outs, 2 strikes, 4 foul balls after strike 2, Mariners just hit a 2-run triple to tie the game in the ninth. These guys refuse to lose early in the season. They won't compete with Astros for division, but it is still annoying. Edit: Mariners win in 10th.
That being said, 10 of their wins are against 3 teams that are a collective 6-16 (not counting their games against the Mariners). Still, certainly an impressive start.
