He’s been framing better than Bob Vela

It's taken 1 hour to play 1.5 innings and I've had 3 beers already.

Nobody can say they're not entertained though. Wonder what's next?

Peacock could easily be scoreless with about 30 pitches thrown right now.

If you can get strikeouts today is the day to do it, strange things are afoot once it gets put in play.

Tuve leadoff IF hit. All you can do is shake your head and laugh at this point.

Glad to see him running well. I wondered if his patella avulsion surgery was gonna affect his speed going into the year.

I wouldn't be receiving this with nearly as much whimsy as I am right now. The roofballs would have really f**ked with me.

Yep: he, Bregman and Correa look just like they should, as far as I can tell.

    I'd be 6 beers in.

The strikes 2/3 to Correa are possibly the 2 best breaking balls Fiers has thrown in his career.

People who don’t understand baseball and think that it is boring have no effing clue.

This is a crazy and glorious game.

Poor Fiers. Stassi was stealing strikes in and out and Fiers couldn't get up or down called.

Fiers kinda got shafted there, nice to be on the other end of them calls.

Blum is awesome. If Diaz didn't want to foul that one of his toenail he probably should have ripped that meatball. Great AB regardless, couple of tough takes on the high borderline FB and then again on ball 4 low. Redemption!

Fiers was absolutely getting squeezed. I'll give Stassi credit, it's the one thing he does well and he's sure as hell doing it today.

eta: 109 pitches in 2 innings.

    I’m stretching like it’s the seventh-inning

Rob Manfred is gonna have an aneurysm when he sees the pace of this game.
