They will let Harden take those all game though. He doesnt hit it at a high enough clip for it to be efficient offense. Only Durant does.

This game was not about the Bucks.
The Rockets just couldn't hit a shot.
If i'm the Rockets I feel good about my chances in a playoff series against them.
The Rockets got whatever shot they wanted but just missed.
Catch the Rockets on top of their game and we blow the bucks completely out.
Silver lining? Yeah but facts are facts.

The adjustments just never come. THERE MUST BE A PLAN WHEN SHOTS ARE NOT FALLING.

mehhhh....rockets lost because of missed open 3s they usually make. At least giannis got posterized tonight.

The way they shut down Harden is leave him wide open to drive the lane but have a big standing there waiting for him. The Rockets say don't shoot the wide open midrange so the Bucks used it against us. They knew we wouldn't take it so that's what they gave us. Harden should have feasted on that shot.

I don't care what the analytics say. This is what happened last year vs GS. When you are bricking 3s, do something else. Don't just keep bricking them. Try something else to get a rhythm going and then go back to shooting 3s.

And play some freaking defense while you are at it! This was so damn frustrating and lack of in game adjustments is pathetic.

Na it's a necessity. We dont have very good transition players...n cp3 is old. N harden does everything. Pushing the pace would just be to taxing...n beside that's the pace everybody plays in the playoffs anyways

I only caught the end of the 4th but I’m assuming the officials didn’t actually have anything to do with the game like some people are crying, and we just sucked at shooting our threes and they brought the energy we didn’t?

Bzdelic strategy on Giannis was good they played him right. He made a mistake on Bledsoe and Middleton and Brooks. Giannis playing iso taking tough shots and handling the basketball makes them predictable. They needed some ball pressure though. And MDA had strategy on the perimeter was horrible. Cp3 has got to get more mid range shots to keep the team in rhythm. More ball screens and cuts to the rim can take pressure off those three point shots and get the team their rhythm. You cant expect guys to hit 3's even if they are wide open without a rhythm. Use the Bucks as an example. They shoot just as many threes as we do but they mix in easy buckets. Look how they did not run the high pick n roll to force the switch. And if guys sit on James hand they need to put James in the post against these guys to get some balance to the game

Harden is a greet shooter. If the Bucks give him the wide open lane to operate but pack the paint, those are easy shots for Harden .

Eh, I think the Bucks would really struggle to score in a playoff series with the Rockets, Warriors and a few other teams. Giannis really doesn’t impact the offensive end of the court as much as one would think and I haven’t seen enough from Middleton, Bledsoe and Brogdon to trust them to create offense against playoff defenses.

They’ll need to rely on offensive rebounds and hoping mediocre to good shooters have consistently poor performances. Tucker, Gordon and Paul missed a ton of open threes for instance.

It’s pretty easy to shut down the paint when you can cave in, don’t rotate to the open shooter and pray for a miss.

Tonight's Rockets display looks like a team that would lose to an inferior Spurs team

Or lose to the Thunder or Clippers

We don't have to play small -- it's a choice by a coach who has never cared about defense.

The Capela/Faried/Tucker starting lineup worked wonders and it was abandoned for no reason.

Less time to rest when there are no free throws being shot. When did the game start? It felt like the fastest/most agonizing game of the year.

Do you think he played like an all-star tonight? Lol. Oh yay 4-9 from three.

Being an all-star is about consistent production and reliability. That part of him is gone.

They put all eggs into hoping they make shots. And why were the starters playing all that late into a done game?

Idk man, i just dont think its efficient offense. They will spam what they are doing the whole game hoping harden takes that shot.
