Steph Curry to coach Bud, Harden reportedly wants to play different offense

This is ridiculous.

DAntoni has begged Harden to play differently. He wanted them to speed up and Harden and CP3 have refused. The idea that Harden wants to play in a ball movement offense is laughable. Maybe he means when he doesn't have the ball and he's taking off the 3rd quarter he wants the other 4 guys to play that motion offense stuff while he rests? No chance he starts playing off ball offense.

 

I guess what some of you don’t get is that Mike himself hates iso ball, he only does it cause it was effective with roster we have. If James wants to do that, he’s gonna have to move off ball too. But honestly we don’t have to do that CAUSE THE OFFENSE IS NOT THE PROBLEM.

Harden wants to play with players that can make shots and make plays. Just share the workload.

Harden is tired of the injuries and having to be "atlas" for the team. I don't blame him.

 

Harden should know better than to talk to petty gossip queens like Curry.

MDA has done nothing but try to milk every last drop out of harden .

Even with CP3 last year , it was James and CP3 that figured out how to share the ball between themselves when on the fooor together.

MDA's system requires a great pg . Not great off ball players .

Harden played more off-ball under mchale than he ever has under MDA .

If it's not James holding the ball the majority of the time , it will be CP3 .

MDA knows 0 other ways to coach besides "play small and give the ball to your best playmaker"

Thing is though idk why he’s complaining about being the man. Kobe Bryant had to do, I mean he had Shaq but many stars have the same problems in this league of not having help or other stars I think he should be grateful with the guys he’s already got.

When Kob won he had great teams, players and coaches around him. Harden well has CP and that's it.

 

Also for those of you bashing harden for not moving off ball .....

No one else here moves off ball either . When's the last time harden was able to find a cutter to the rim ? Maybe when House was playing . Everyone outside of the center just camps at the three point line . Our scheme relys entires on harden getting penetration and scoring or passing out .

 

Yep. This is the MDA/Morey offense. Harden and CP try and create. Other guys just stand and wait
