Tonight on ESPN2. Not sure what to expect from this game. Neither team is playing particularly well and it's going to be on a soggy field with more storms possible. Add to that, a mostly empty stadium since the Dynamo have such a terrible marketing department. Plus, this is it for the Dynamo season. No playoffs. AND GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4th minute by Manotas after a Philly goal was called back for offside.
Im glad they are at least using their best lineup out there today. Boniek-Cabezas should have bene the midfield duo all season, its a shame that couldn't come together until now Of course Wenger is still garbage, he should never be on the field
I like what Twellman is saying, too. This is a great opportunity for the Dynamo to make a move into the the team we've been waiting on for years. Spend some money and show well in the CONCACAF Champions League that we're now in for the first time in years. Do something with it. BE RELEVANT!
Season finished with a 3-2 road win over the LA Galaxy that knocked them out of the playoffs. Also, Chris Cannetti is (thankfully) leaving the Dynamo to head up the Houston WC bid. I'm sure he'll perform this job as well as he did his for the Dyanmo...which means if we get to be a hosting city, the game will be at Spring ISD stadium to save money. The man loves bargain bin shopping.

I'd keep Senderos, seems like a good locker room guy and a nice backup CB. Surprised about Machado. I liked Remick when he played more regularly 2 seasons ago, but I don't remember him even playing this year. Otherwise, everyone else they are letting go seems fine.
Dynamo leave the following open for the expansion draft: Eric Alexander (M) Eric Bird (M) Boniek Garcia (M) Kevin Garcia (D) Michael Nelson (G) Chris Seitz (G)
I saw this earlier in the week. Andrew Luck talking about his favorite sports team other than the Colts His time in Houston definitely had an impact on him, with his Dad helping run the Dynamo. Also respect to him. Said last jersey he wore was a Dempsey jersey. Maybe has to do with Dempsey being a Texas boy...or just being his favorite USNAT.
All bargain bin shopping. I was seeing people on social media happy they signed a European player without realizing he was a guy that rarely makes the bench for a Serie B team. Palermo is looking at being promoted and he's not a player they likely planned to keep. A decent depth signing, maybe. But they haven't done anything to improve from the mediocrity they're mired in.
