    Unloading Ryan's contract whole loading up a contract worth 160M where the player will only play 25-50% of the games over that contract length.

    But what good did unloading a decent 3 point shooter and rebounder do if you restocked with worse talent? I'd like Ryno on the team right now hes actually an nba player.

    This is also true, it is a sign of some slight desperation of course, which is understandable to a degree, sort of a go big or go home thinking, but Melo had not worked with both of the Rockets coaches in the past, he had not worked in a somewhat similar role though on a different team in a somewhat different system, there were signs it wouldn't work, but everyone wants to see for themselves. It was a reasonable gamble, but the problem was probably that if it didn't work, there wasn't truly a backup option.

    I agree. Shooting 3s only make sense when you're making it at all high percentage. We're not. Our misses lead to fast brakes got our opponents . So a missed 3 is a plus 2 or 3 for the opponent.
