Actually looks damn good.

 

CGI looks kinda bad IMO

with that said, like Wonder Woman, this could be 1 of their not terrible movies

 

You know, I thought Infinity War CGI was horrible is many spots....especially Thanos. However, didn't hear the same criticisms as some of the DC movies. I think it is just fan boys trying to take down the other rival properties.

 

DC combines bad CGI with a bad story and bad characters (Justice League for example and )...the trifecta of sh*ttyness

 

Did I just watch the whole movie?

Went from a pass to a hard pass.

Hate that actor even more now but Amber Heard looking tasty as ever as a red head.

 

I don't get the character she's playing -- she can... suck water out of things? ...

But honestly, I do think the trailer does a good job with black manta, and hopefully the CGI improves.

Just for me the undersea battles of sea-people armies looked kinda ridiculous, like watching Spongebob after drinking way too much cough syrup or something.

 

right now I’m getting “it wasn’t great, it was kinda stupid, but it was fun at times” vibes from this movie...or, with it being a DCEU product, it could just be straight up trash

No...they didn't show the whole move. It was a Comic-Con trailer.

I actually don’t think the CGI looks too bad it’s just that it’s CGI overload!!!

 

Um, this looks ****ing dope. I am more interested in Shazam but, I may actually end up catching this one. I still don't know how I feel about Momoa leading a franchise though, he seems pretty 1 dimensional -- he was fun in Justice League though.

To the people saying the CGI looks bad, I mean it looks spotty at points...but it looks quite good actually, I don't know what you're expecting. It looks a hell of a lot better than Justice League...

 

I think it looks fine. DC needs a win. The bar is very low. Just make a competent move and you're in. I don't like when people think a DC trailer looks meh and DC fans think it's Marvel fanboy-ism run amok. It looks meh. That rooftop chase is ridiculously outdated, lol.

 

Nice final trailer but it doesn't give me a good feeling about this movie. Hope I'm wrong because Aquaman is one of the few DC characters, besides Batman, I really like.

 

That trailer looks terrible. Terrible CGI, terrible acting. Just more DC garbage being released.

FYI: I thought Wonder Woman was great.

 

so how many meters into the surface until aquaman is useless? not too familiar with the character. unless he gets super powers whenever there is a source of water (tap, river, puddles)?

anyway the justice league movie made him look weak and like a raging idiot.
