I wish our Ryan Anderson averaged 10 points and five rebounds while coming off a major injury

Not before December 15th. After that you MIGHT be able to stitch together a bunch of the vet minimum contracts plus Knight plus Chriss plus Nene to make it work.

You know who won't cost you Gordon or Tucker?

Yeah, he's very underrated. Not sure why other than being a Utah Jazzhole.

The injury may have totally ruined him, but he was a GREAT player that did everything.

Instead of 2 old plastic cups we'll have 6 old plastic cups in the trashbag to offer after December 15th lol.

I'd like to think of it as the Chris Paul trade Volume 2: Morey turns a bunch of contracts into something worthwhile.

At this point Hayward can barely run down the court. He is hurting the Celtics on the floor while taking away minutes from their young wings.
Maybe he eventually makes it back but my guess is he isn't going to help anyone win games this season. He probably needs to be put on some kind of minute restriction but right now it is painful just to watch him on the floor. Even he has publicly stated the pain is something he might have to manage for the remainder of his career. After seeing the damage a bad contract can do (hello Chandler Parsons) I would hope Morey would avoid this type of risk.

Porter is overpaid but he's the type of role player that would help the Rockets now and in the future. It's just a matter if ownership is willing to further open the pocketbook to acquire more future salary. Based on salary obviously Oubre would likely be the better alternative but the Wizards are trying to get out of tax hell themselves so would likely prefer to keep the cheaper option.

For us to trade for Gordon Haywood, we'd have to send out at least $24,891,436 in salary.

I would love to get porter but i really just don't see washington helping us. If Aigne is ready and willing to let Hayward go, that means he is pretty much usess to us. I do not trust Aigne.

yeah . After thinking about it for a day or two I'm gonna have to pass on Hayward .

At this point I would rather send knight Chriss and a first to ATL for bazemore.

Also I would kick the tires on Harrison Barnes ... awful contract , but he's had success in the role we would be putting him in and we are all in anyways . If we could get him for knight , Chriss , and nene I would do it .

The knicks might keep sucking ass , I wonder how much it would take to get hardaway Jr from them .... maybe they've soured on his contract and realize they have to rebuild / want to open up as much cap space as possible . Knight Chriss and 3 firsts for him ??

I would see how CHA feels about giving up Marvin Williams too .

Morey needs to do something soon. Worried about our depth, Pringles is only going 7 deep right now.

CP3, Harden, Tucker and Capella are playing heavy minutes and that's not good this early in the season.

Do we have a roster spot? If not, the only way to 'do something Morey' is to cut someone which would cost us luxury tax dollars. I tend to agree with that Ahmed guy that the holdup with the Melo situation is they are trying to find out if they can get some team to claim him if they waive him. That would save them money and free up a roster spot so they could sign some other veteran scrub.

Tilman balks at Otto Porter’s contract

I don’t think the Rockets can afford to be paying a role player 26 mil...that’s close to a 3rd max contract, and you’re spending it on OP

I’m not going to argue in Anderson’s favor. He sucks.

Anyone make a "You don't approach the Morey. The Morey approaches you." meme yet?

Haywood? I'm not AGAINST the idea.
But I would rather see if we could swap him out for Jaylen.
A Cappella/Gordon for Jaylen/Horford works. Would probably need to throw a pick or two in. I think this works for both teams. Harden would loose a lob catcher but Horfords ability to stretch the floor would open things up THAT much more (and he's a fantastic defender). Jaylen would be our Butler (and has the potential to be even better than). Celtics clear Horfords 20mil plus over the next two years and gets a fringe star player on a great contract that fits their needs in Capella.

We would take a big hit with bench production but we were willing to do that for Butler so..
