    This is like a bowl game, a championship game; the season is on the line. If the Coogs win they will be ranked and favored to win their division, and possibly in line for a excellent bowl bid..

    We need the defense to show up early for a change in this one. This game will probably be our last chance this to enter top 25. I hope we are hungry and motivated going into this one. And hoping Ed Oliver will be good to go. Anybody heard anything yet?

    Edit: Just saw on chron.com where Ed Oliver ruled out for today's game.

    I am not ready to gloat yet but I like the way our defense has been playing first two series. Couldn't have asked for a better start. As Fulgore says we need to keep our foot on their throat.

    Coogs are exciting - sucks the stadium was only 2/3 full... Houston needs to be in the Big 12.

    Impressive win. Defense looked good at times but porous at times. Offense absolute machine out there. Sucks that it looks like they may have lost one of their best receivers. King was incredible.

    We showed a lot of guts overcoming several questionable to very bad calls from the refs.

    The Coogs offense is sick, at times looks unstoppable. The defense had some good moments but is still a work in progress. If the Coogs had a shutdown defense they would be in the top ten, maybe the top five. The Big Red Machine looks like it can only stop itself. I was disappointed in the attendance, the crowds are very lively though.
