Damn.. Barkley can run that rock. Vision, strength, speed, agility, quickness, and he's crafty. Not sure about his hands, but he can surely make something happen if he catches it. Broadcast has compared him to Earl and Barry.
I can't tell who has the worse O-line - Texans or the Giants. NYG's offense looks like complete garbage.
Beckham and Barkley is going to be wasted for a while. Giants need to find both OL help and a new QB. No idea what their cap space is, but I remember hearing that they spent a lot trying to shore up the defensive side of ball, a few years ago. Kind of an AJ80/Arian situation, with Schaub at the helm.
Wow, Giants can't do anything right. After a huge completion, you run it instead of clocking it and talking it over? Then you go incomplete on 2nd down, incomplete on 3rd down and miss a FG. Giants had a time-out...could have checked it down and had better time management. NYG is a hot mess, all around. Jfc.
Came here to post this. Texans lost to this garbage Giants squad (and they put up 27) (15, 13, 27, 18, 31)
Agree, he is an asset and you should lock him up to an extension! Do not let him get away! Jerrah defends Jason Garrett: He ‘will get us where we want to go’ “What we’ve got here is an asset that I think will get us to where we want to go, and that’s a championship,” Jones said on KRLD/105.3 The Fan. “He’s got outstanding background in our game. He’s gained a Harvard, or whatever kind of degree, the best in the world in the NFL through being your head coach of the Dallas Cowboys. And I want to put all of that together and use it. Now, does he have some things that others may do better or does he have some things that he can do better? Of course.” “He is absolutely the real deal. There is no fraud in Jason Garrett,” Jones said. “He’d just rather give you a clever or a no-answer with a little bit of sensitivity to it. He’d rather just give you an answer than say ‘I’m not going to comment’ in some cases. And that you gets you in trouble just almost every time you give an answer. I haven’t learned that yet.” Jones was asked if he’s too close to Garrett to make a tough decision if the team goes south. He appreciated the question but didn’t answer it. “That’s fair game with our fans … I love it that everybody makes it fair game. I really do,” he said. “I just want us to have that kind of interest in what we’re doing. I clearly understand when we have expectations and don’t meet them. Those feelings aren’t unique to us. Everybody’s got the same kinds of feelings. So, I get it. I understand it. I had known that when this thing goes the other way or doesn’t meet the expectations, get ready, there’s going to be a lot of criticism about things that aren’t even related to the game or to the issue.” Jones added: “Jason does. If you’ve got the close-in read on him, you know, and by the way, he’s well thought out, better when you are sitting down and going over ‘what about this way or how about doing it that way’ or what have you. You’ll have a nice, good, logical reason for it not having gone that way every time. So, he thinks it through. He works hard. The main thing everybody ought to know is how hard he works. You say, ‘Well, that’s not enough. We all work hard.’ But he works very hard.”
Not only losing, but getting blanked, so far. AFC South remains the worst division in professional football.
Totally different looking Cowboys team. Maybe it's the Jaguars but Texans won't do what the Chiefs did or Cowboys are doing to Jacksonville next week.
