Hopkins is the best out of that group. I would rather have Hop and Fuller. Mahomes also has a better arm. It is Matt Stafford like.

Nope I have never jumped on a bandwagon. I only root for Houston teams in all sports. I was just impressed with Mahomes at the combine and wanted us to draft him. I am impressed with what he is doing this year too. That doesn't mean I don't want to see Watson do just as well.

As for last year I stopped watching the NFL as many others did because I hated the protesting. It had nothing to do with jumping on or off a bandwagon.

I won't compare them then, but regardless of the system he is in, Mahomes is special. If I like that, it shouldn't bother you. I want nothing more than to see our QB become great. But, as you said and I agree, our system and coaching isn't helping him get there.

If you are a Texans fan and can’t get excited about the potential DW4 has after watching the s*** show at qb before he arrived then I’m not sure what to tell you.

    That is actually really encouraging.

Good passers typically destroy teams in that area.

Deshaun is going through the adjustment process currently.

I will always be able to live with the picks because of how aggressive he really is.

This is very impressive because of the odds being stacked against him. Bad coaching, bad offensive line and he still manages to do this.

Nothing you can really. I think I have just gotten tired of getting let down after hype so many times and seeing our stars go out for the season with injuries. I can't wait to get that excitement back. Starting out 0-3 with a terrible coach who got extended for what looks like an eternity makes it hard to feel good about our future. Regardless, it is all I want. Every week I hope for better results.

A part of me was so disgusted with Sunday's performance that I almost wanted to see us lose every game left, just so we will get rid of O'Brien. But, I just can't root against my hometown team. I never have and never will.

So essentially we're going to "David Carr" Deshaun Watson. Fun times.

    Don’t forget Watkins also.

I think Hopkins is the best overall player of the three but hill and kelce are better than fuller and hunt is way better than Miller.

I’m not hating on Texans skill position players we have Maybe the best WR duo in the league so Watson has plenty of help on the outside but man he needs some time to throw them the ball.

It seems all his completions are because he’s scrambling around the pocket and instead of running with it like 90% of other qbs with his skill set he’s always keeping his head up and lookin to throw the ball.

That skill set is why I think he’s special.

The kid is a qb who happens to be athletic.

He’s not an athlete who happens to play qb.

It's always good to have the so-called experts catch up to the fans. Now the haters will start to listen.

I found a pic of watson after 13 more games with this oline.

Good thing we didnt keep duane brown due to political and cheap reasons.

I agree 100%. Just think if we didn't waste a third pick in the draft to take watson and a second to dump Brock, we could have had a solid qb plus a 1 st and second round pick to draft online. But knowing bob and Smith, they probably would have wasted those picks on more dbacks and d linemen.

Made quick progressions and was largely accurate throughout the day.

    He’s improved since last year.

Having a real slot receiver and going back to the RPO and motion in the backfield helped a ton. Glad BOB and Watson found success today...hopefully they and the Texans can keep it going.
