Who is the Cruz supporter? There's a difference between supporting candidate A because one is excited about him/her, vs. voting for candidate A because candidate B is so odious. I'd say that's a lot of what's going on with Cruz supporters. They're not in love with Cruz, they just find Beta's positions intolerable and odious. Same with Trump and HRC, really. That said, Cruz is an Alpha on the debate stage. Like him or hate him, he can hang with anyone in a debate. As for Cruz/his wife/Trump.....who cares? Way too many people get agitated about that stuff.

I'm still dismissive about his chances now that I know he's foolish enough to agree to 3 debates. He'll have no choice but to let the masses know what he actually supports and that'll be the end of his candidacy. Right now the polls say Cruz by 3, after the debates it'll be Cruz by 10
Ah yes, a reference to Trump's people who said the polls were wrong.....and they ended up being wrong when it comes to those who actually voted. As to the polls, I don't think they'll be wrong, at least not the RCP average. I think right now O'Rourke probably is within 3 or 4 points if all of his supporters showed up to vote. I expect that number to change after the debates when O'Rouke will be forced to admit to his positions and attempt to defend them. A lot of those positions won't be popular with Texas voters and the ads that will come from that will likely blow the race open.

You know damn well if the shoe was on the other foot, the conspiracy theory loving Trump base would never shut up about foreign interference... Heaven forbid it was ever proven as well like the Russian interference has been. I can only imagine if it was proven in writing that Chelsea Clinton took a meeting the Summer before the election with Iranian govt officials and then months later it becomes known that Iran hacked our election to help HRC become president. Your head wouid explode daily. That being said I don’t know a damn person who is talking about the Russians and the Beto/Cruz race other than one comment likely made in jest. But it’s obvious that folks like yourself want us to be talking about it so you can talk about us talking about it. Just like this campaign to make it seem like Democrats are running on impeachment by talking nonstop about Democrats running on impeachment when I reality the only one talking about Impeachment is Trump himself. These tactics are obvious. The Beto race going to the mud and dirty political propaganda tactics tells you all you need to know. The Trumplican Party is scared sh$&less they might actually lose this valuable Senate seat and potentially Texas looks like it could become representative of its actual population and not a Ruby Red stronghold anymore that doesn’t accurately represent a diverse state with diverse poltical beliefs.
These tactics show signs of a politician who really cares about winning the hearts and minds of Texans. Not resorting to mud slinging, propagating untruths, and literally conning old people.
