More people trust fake media than even more fake trump... Poll: More voters trust media to tell the truth than Trump http://thehill.com/homenews/adminis...st-media-than-trump?__twitter_impression=true
Noteworthy that the costs were set two years ago (during the Obama admin) but... Haley and the trump admin continued the high costs. And, as causally mention in the article... Treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin requested a government plane to take his wife on a honeymoon to Europe, and has come under fire for spending nearly $1 million on just seven trips. EPA administrator Scott Pruitt spent $168,000 on charter, military, and first class flights in his first year in office, despite EPA guidelines saying he should travel coach. The trips often included weekend layovers in his home state of Oklahoma. Pruitt splashed around $43,000 on a sound-proof phone booth (paywall) in his office. Interior secretary Ryan Zinke has been dinged for failing to keep (paywall) proper records of his travel, been criticized for booking charter flights, and taken helicopters costing thousands of dollars when he could have taken a car. He spent $139,000 on new office doors (following a slew of embarrassing headlines, he says he has cut their cost by nearly half. Housing secretary Ben Carson ordered a $31,000 dining set. The inspector general of Carson’s agency is also investigating whether Carson broke ethics rules by involving his son, the owner of a private equity firm, in government activities. VA Secretary David Shulkin spent more than $122,000 of department money on a 10-day trip to the UK and Denmark in July 2017—which involved only three and a half days of meetings. btw, Nikki Haley is one of the few good people in trump's admin. Hopefully she runs in 2020.
That's not true. Haley's condo is far less costly than the previous ambassador's condo. https://nypost.com/2018/01/03/nikki-haleys-condo-at-the-un-is-saving-you-money/
It is Trump’s crisis actors job program. Crisis actors job employment numbers are the highest they have been.
https://www.nationalreview.com/2018/10/kavanaugh-hearings-partisan-reporters-making-it-worse/ excerpt: ". . . here’s the point: On nearly every question and issue, the tenor of the press — shockingly — mirrors the tenor of the Democrats who insist that it falls to Kavanaugh to disprove these allegations. That is an understandable (albeit morally grotesque) position for partisan Democrats who’ve made it clear they will do whatever it takes, again, as Chuck Schumer admitted, to block Kavanaugh. "But that’s not your job, you supposedly objective journalists. You should care every bit as much about disproving the allegations of Swetnick, Ramirez, and — yes — Ford as proving them. Your job — as you’ve said countless times, preening in your heroic martyr status in the age of Trump — is to report the facts. If Swetnick is lying, you should want to report that every bit as much as you would if you could prove that Kavanaugh is. Because you’re not supposed to have a team. It’s fine if you support the #MeToo movement in your private time, but you’re not supposed to lend any movement aid and comfort, never mind air cover, in your reporting. "Now, I get that most journalists are liberal, even if they deny it. I understand that most think they’re just seeking the truth. But, dear champions of the Fourth Estate, you might take just a moment to understand that you need to be fair to the other side of the argument even if you disagree with it."
not only is this a blatant lie by the idiot Goldberg, he also intentionally did not mention Republican Jeff Flake using the power of his vote to force the WH / turtle face to start an FBI onvestigation the hard-working press is making it difficult for Turtle face and the WH to rush this nomination
Interesting graphical view that I am sure will spawn discussion... https://www.adfontesmedia.com/media-bias-chart-3-1-minor-updates-based-constructive-feedback/
It's interesting but I do feel we've seen it before. Maybe they've updated it. Would move abc to the left. Still very handy and very fair, IMO.
Liberal and conservative are subjective terms. It should be said that journalist are usually well educated and concerned for the well being of the nation and her People. They probably think of themselves as centrists politically and truthseekers. In my lifetime, the journalist are usually proven right over the long term i.e. opposition to the Vietnam War, support for Civil Rights, that Nixon was involved in the Watergate cover-up, opposition to Gulf War 2 , and the vilification of GOP partisanship as expressed by Newt Gingrich, Tom DeLay and Karl Rove as undemocratic and divisive.
That would essentially Fox News as Trump's twitter feed is pretty much a live feed of Hannity, Fox and Friends, Tucker Carlson, "Judge" Jeanine and Laura Ingram.
