My question is what did you not understand about my plain statement regarding Brie Larson and Captain Marvel? How could you miss that? To answer your question: Nothing. I don't doubt this movie for one minute. To repeat: I was on the bandwagon the minute they announced Larson as the hero.
saw a dated clip of brie larson playing virtual pictionary at jimmy fallon. not as attractive now that she's skin and bones.
They don't own Fox (they're just buying some of their assets). All of that is in an approval stage which won't be complete until mid-2019. You won't be seeing an X-men movie in the MCU for some time (I would guess at least 2022). The other thing is Fox has another shitty X-men movie they're releasing next February, so they will likely want to let that air out a bit before they'd release their own. Assuming everything gets approved anyway.
I never really read comic books as a kid, but that cartoon was proper badass. So was the arcade game.
That girl looks like trailer trash sludge from the bottom of the dumpster. You need some Angela White in your life.
Ghost Rider was my favorite comic as a kid. Shame that they screwed that character so much in film and TV.
Brie Larson is a "6." Why you Millennials find a "6" compelling is confounding to me. She is basically Blossom 2.0
Whatever. Brie Larson is a very good actress. That is what's important here. The movie won't depend on how attractive people like you think she is.
She's been in 5 indie movies, and she is an average actress. Saw Room and Spectacular Now in the past year. She was meh.
I thought she was good in "Trainwreck" and that film added to "Room" helped her win Best Actress (although the former was more of a supporting role for her). But rating her a "6"? Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight. No one's saying she's one of the "Carl's Jr / Hardee's" girls (Emily Rata-something Polish and Sara Jean Something). But a 6?
