i respect jazz more than the worriers...i respect donovan mitchell more than durant...donovan sems like a rare player that might be near harden's level
Respect is one thing... basketball is another. Warriors is still the team to be no matter what you think.
This may hit a nerve with a lot of people on here but he may end up being better than Harden TBH. Mitchell is a very consistent shooter which is rare for a rookie. He’s also a very good passer, ball handler, and shot creator for himself and others. Mitchell is already an above average defensive player with the ability to jump in the passing lanes for steals. I see him in HOU a lot with CP3 (who Mitchell is really tight with) and Harden. I hope someway somehow when D.Mitchell does hit the FA market that HOU can have a shot at him. I love his game and fire which is the ONLY reason I like UTAH.
Mitchell is so much fun to watch. The way he moves on the court and the stuff he does... Just beautiful basketball. That being said, I don't think the Jazz are quite on the Rockets level. Unless the Rockets take a significant step backwards from the last years performance.
The entire NBA has had time to properly research Mitchell now and he'll be facing defenses that are tailored to stop him. Look for a down season from him, but he'll be back by year 3 when he develops all his workarounds.
Mitchell reminds of Brandon Roy with his feel of the game. I'm not going to underestimate, but he is not at Harden's level yet and Utah has no one near CP3's level.
Mitchell was out, but this game was a hard one to beat the jazz. Like I said, people will point to Mitchell being out but when the grizzlies beat the jazz in Utah a week ago with Mitchell, that game was easier than last night's game.
