    I've always wondered if Americans know when foreign singers make an American-style song just in another language?

    Like an Arabic song that is made solely to appeal to Americans and kids who only listen to American music. Would you be able to tell or does it just strike you as a good Arabic song?

    Is Spanish really that foreign though, damn near half the country can speak some Spanish.
    Although for me I don't care, I can listen to music that I can't understandand and still like it.
    I probably wouldn't like it as much if she sung the same songs in English.
    But anyway Yuridia is fantastic, I can't get enough of listening to her.
    She just blows you away and takes names.

    She's okay. Don't get the Adele comparison......at least not from this video. I'd rather see and hear Lisa Morales; plays Houston all the time.......either solo or with her sister Roberta. And they look pretty darn good for-fifty something year old ladies.

    But then again.....I'm an old man, so my opinion doesn't count for much.

    Just to follow up, I don't have to understand what Bruce Springsteen sings about. The dogs howl at midnight cuz they understand, wtf????

    I still listen to his music.

    You should have been where I was at Liberty Hall in March of '74, what. I was about 12 feet from him at the club and tickets were $3 bucks in advance. Understood every word. Played for 3 hours.
