There are rumors around that people post but clubs that are not willing to invest more than 40-50 million for a player. For example, you are a Bayern fan, you hear rumors about Martial all summer but at the end Bayern is only willing to spend so much for a transfer. Those rumors are legit but it is more than doubtful it happens, unless they are trigger happy like the EPL clubs with their TV moneys. Or Mourinho is giving them away like drinks on Ibiza!
Bayern already stated they'll do a 100mil transfer rather sooner than later, and the 60-80mark will fall earlier.
German brehs Dortmund were in the states until thursday and they're definitely trying to make an impression in the United States (Bayern as usual have the lead). Interesting team they have this season(still no striker and weirdly, no real rumors of any). Zorc and Watzke were around as well and they had some former stars around for their tour. The German media covering the team had some good perspective re. Ozil, the German team, and German players. Got a bunch more to mention that I noticed....but I'll save that for another post. I went to United-Liverpool today and I swear- Mourinho is the most confusing, frustrating manager and the best at throwing shade at his players and other managers/teams. Absolutely unreal. I might need a couple paragraphs for this stuff tomorrow but jeez. If you get a chance, read his comments prior to the Liverpool match and after the Liverpool match. So many things wrong with what he says. So many things.
You mean to tell me that Jose Mourinho says incredibly stupid things and generally acts like a petulant child? GASP.
Funny you say that. History of the 2 best clubs in Germany suggests otherwise. https://www.transfermarkt.com/fc-bayern-munchen/transferrekorde/verein/27 https://www.transfermarkt.com/borussia-dortmund/transferrekorde/verein/16
That's what Rummenigge stated, what do you want me to say? The market changed, so the past transfers don't have anything to do with future ones. And Dortmund never said they'd do expensive transfers.
Nothing. I was surprised, all those big names just joined for 'cheap' while Schürrle was the transfer record who brought nothing. Had nothing to do with your posts, I just came across that by chance. I was searching for Liverpool and EPL's spending. They surely did not go bankrupt bc of their transfer politics.

Sux for Arsenal and Chelsea fans in America. Turner have decided to stick it to soccer fans in America...all to recoup the costs they spent buying the rights and also to make people use their streaming service. Ridiculous.
Truly insane pricing. VPNs and streams will be booming. What’s crazy is that it isn’t like TNT would be airing anything else during CL matches. Although, I guess that’s at the heart of this; why bump a rerun of Bones for live sports if you can make the sports fans pay double to watch the games.
