I know the phrase party over country has been used before as a way to decry bad policy decisions. It's actually weird to have a specific example where it literally means party over country. Sad day in American history for sure.
@MojoMan, even with any extradition of the GRU officers, there are still some consequences for them in being indicted. They will probably be reported to Interpol and they could be arrested if they travel outside of Russia. It also fills out the tapestry for the other, domestic indictments that have been made or will come. That's the point of the indictments, not some hope for extradition nor some grandstanding.
Surely, the OP knows all of this. He is just playing a propaganda game, based on his posting history and, consistently, this surreal "poll" with two options following a hyperbolic question.
SMH are you legitimately mentally handicapped? I want to know if pointing and laughing at you would be cruel before I do it.
Anyone who is not disturbed at this point with what's going on is either totally stupid or totally ignorant.
So now Trump and Putin are apparently working on another Summit for October. How is it that anyone cannot see what Trump is doing here? Trump and Putin are working on some sort of big deal, maybe a nuclear arms treaty related deal, perhaps something pertaining to North Korea, or something like that. Whatever it is, it will be something big, and the breakthrough will be announced a few weeks before the November elections, on American soil. If Trump pulls this off, the Democrats and their sycophantic supporters in the mass media will soil themselves in unison, live on national television, while shrieking like a bunch of schoolgirls covered in live cockroaches. It is who they are. It is what they do. Mark it down.
Wont be surprised if they are working on something but whatever it is will not be in the best interest of the US.
nope. but you, boreby, are a disgrace and a traitor to this country. just like your god trump. and none of us have any problem at all pointing and laughing at you. this whole message board knows exactly who you are.
Because Trump isn't capable of negotiating a good deal for the United States. Any deal that he works out or has started working on while by himself with no advisors or people who actually understand dealmaking will be pure crap. Maybe that's Trump's plan, but he has shown that he isn't capable of doing something beneficial for the United States. So far, nobody in the state department has been given any instructions on terms or even possibilities for possible agreements. Trump has shown that he has no grasp or understanding of international laws, protocol, obligations the United States is committed to, or the idea that verification is a good thing to include when coming to agreements with adversarial dictators. Trump blew it with his N. Korea meeting. Trump doesn't have the knowledge to negotiate a deal when it comes to foreign policy. Since he hasn't asked for help or a list of guidelines or to review the United States existing commitments and agreements it doesn't really matter if that is Trump's plan. If that is what Trump is doing, it won't be big. It will be a big failure.
TDS. What we can be sure of is that even if Trump negotiates a great deal for our country - one that you would have been ecstatic about if Obama had been able to negotiate such an agreement - is that you and the rest of the Democrat left will whine and cry, and act out like petulant children who are in the process of getting their bare bottoms spanked. Which is politically in a way pretty much what is happening. If you respond in this way, it will be because Trump is doing it and you are all hysterically unhinged and out of control. The fact that you are pronouncing the upcoming deal a failure - any deal - before we even know what the objective of the deal is, much less before we know what the terms of the deal are, is a demonstration of how truly mental you and others who think like you have become. So the people have a choice in November. They can choose between the agenda of Trump or of the hysterical lynch mob left. Hmmm.
What? I am talking about the specifics of the "deals" Trump has been made. No other president would do that from either party. I am talking about statements that Trump has made that shows he doesn't understand American obligations, treaties, commitments, and is incapable of negotiating a legitimate deal. If somehow, Trump actually made a great deal for the United States, I would be ecstatic. I would love that. I'm not pronouncing the upcoming deal a failure. I'm doubting that there is an upcoming deal. At best, it will be an announcement that they've agreed to work out a deal. Trump has yet to show that he is capable of making a good deal regarding foreign policy. He hasn't. He has shown that he's given things away to the people with which he negotiated. But hasn't gotten anything from the folks at the opposite end of the negotiating table. I'm not saying that because I don't like Trump. I'm saying that because that is what happened.
Who cares how the left will react ffs The liberals, the Democrats, the left- they are the majority plain and simple No one here cried or whined for 8 years during the last presidency, nope.
Quite a lot of people care, actually. When many people see Trump displaying the symptoms of diagnosable narcissism and behaving in an unseemly way, they wonder if there is a better alternative. Then they look around and witness the Democrat left acting out in even worse fashion, behaving hysterically, literally destroying the credibility of the Democrat left dominated mass media by lashing out non-stop at Trump for over three years now. Non-stop and completely over the top, absolutely unhinged and out of control. Of course many people like what Trump is accomplishing, but they do not like his personal behavior. The Democrat left has no clear agenda on the outcomes side, and on the personal behavior, they are collectively acting even worse than Trump. If the Democrat left could pull themselves together, get a sincere agenda that benefited the working class as opposed to the globalist elite, socialism-loving, urban left, they would have a real opportunity here. Because people do "care" about how the Democrat left reacts. But unfortunately for the Democrats, they are blowing their chance here in spectacular fashion.
So, as you have illustrated here, the Democrat left agenda appears to be 1) Russia, 2) Stormy Daniels and 3) the race card. That is not going to be good enough for the independent/undecided voters that will make up this election. And it will not be enough to motivate either side to come to the polls. But an agenda of economic reform, immigration enforcement and Supreme Court victories, along with a big treaty with Russia, maybe on nuclear arms control, and that could be a winner.
