Paramount Pictures and Bad Robot have premiered the first trailer for “Overlord,” the upcoming Nazi zombie film that many suspected (and still do) would turn out to be a fourth “Cloverfield” film. J.J. Abrams produces the project which will be Bad Robot’s first ever R-rated film, and co-hatched the idea with the film’s screenwriter Billy Ray (“Shattered Glass,” “The Hunger Games”). Julius Avery (“Son of a Gun”) helms the film which is set on the eve of D-Day. A group of American paratroopers are dropped behind enemy lines to carry out a mission crucial to the invasion’s success, but soon begin to realize there is more going on in this Nazi-occupied village than a simple military operation. Jovan Adepo, Wyatt Russell, Iain de Caestecker, Jacob Anderson, Dominic Applewhite, Pilou Asbaek, John Magaro, Mathilde Ollivier and Bokeem Woodbine co-star in the film. http://www.darkhorizons.com/first-trailer-j-j-abrams-produced-overlord/
There was a pretty good foreign film (can't remember the name) that had a very similar premise where a group of soldiers went into a seemingly abandoned German bunker outpost. Then, before they knew it, they were trapped there surrounded by the Nazis who were formerly assigned to the outpost. And, the Nazis were zombies. Then, it escalated from there. This film almost feels like a ripoff of that film.
When faced with a zombie, does it really matter if that zombie was a fascist, or a communist, or a vegan, or anything else? Okay, maybe facing a vegan zombie would be the best bet. But you get my drift.
A Wiki list of “nazi zombie” films convinced me that you are referring to Outpost, a 2008 British film
"In many ways, this film is like the CITIZEN KANE of The Asylum films" Hey say what you want, dude, but at least veganism is an ethos...
If you are Jewish, would a Nazi zombie refuse to eat you, or would he go out of his way to preferentially eat you?
I'm probably one of the few that enjoyed Paradox, for what it was. Cloverfield and 10 Cloverfield Land were awesome. So this definitely has my interest.
Fantastic movie. Better than I expected. Never a dull moment. Don't think it's a spoiler to say that this is not a Cloverfield movie, either, which I also appreciated.
