France just has too much talent, love Croatia’s mid but don’t see Modr and Raki playing the full 90 mins without fatigue. France should win this one 3-1.

I thought their outside backs/fullbacks especially Vrsaljko were good against England...but the centerbacks.... Sterling and Kane gave Lovren especially and sometimes Vida, a torrid time in the first 30 mins. The second half was a different story and Vida was excellent while Lovren was alright. Lovren escaped a deserved first half sending off(and insanely received zero cards in that game) against England with a referee who seemed scared to give cards for on-ball action. Versus France and Mbappe like you said, I see the same thing happening against Lovren and I hope the ref won't be scared to give a card for a deserved foul.

And as much as I don't think Deschamps is anything special as a manager, he has the conservative mindset to figure out what needs to be done to stop Croatian fullbacks from causing havoc.

Plus the French don't have anything close to as average-crap midfield as England do/played with. Deschamps could roll out a midfield of bench players- Tolisso, Fekir/Lemar, Nzonzi and it would still be miles better than anything England could put on the field.

I'm hoping(and calling) a Giroud goal in the final. (Make the Arsenal/France Giroud haters lose their minds:D)

I just hope France won't run away with this, keep it close, Croatia has the chance to make a surprise goal.

Well, it's just a distant hope.

I am Arsenal fan but not a France fan, and Giroud is now a Chelski.

France is favorite, so the disappointment would be within limits.

Croatia’s chances must be better than the Cavs’ ones.

Fifa also got some corrupt officials. Get the snacks ready!

Anything but France winning this clearly would be a sensation. France has too much talent. But I'll root for Croatia.

I think Giroud is possibly the most overrated player in this tournament. He’s a good back-to-goal forward but his finishing is horrible...and it’s usually in the box chances. I wonder how much better France would’ve been with Benzema.
