No wonder Capela and his agents have a high level of irrational confidence!!! One of his agents got Gorgui Dieng his money The other agent got Stephen Adams his $100 mill payday. Lol
Well it is the same agent as Dmo, BJ Armstrong. Already got fired once for his incompetence so maybe here comes another
I mean why can’t he just improve his game for the next 5 yrs and sign a max offer when he’s 28. I’m sure he will make back 12 mill in endorsements, but it’s his pockets not mine smh.
This offer was reportedly offered July 1st, before the nonexistent free agency offers. He’s not represented by Bj Armstrong.
Bj Armstrong is a dumb ass! If he thinks he can get that 100 million dollar contract he needs to find a team that can offer that much and the Rockets can then pick or chose to match. Obviously no one has yet to offer him that kind of money or the Rockets would have let him walk! Plain and simple either take the offer Houston has to offer or find a better situation. No one in their right mind would offer a Center who can not create their own shot, and does not stretch the floor in 2018 the max. I GUARANTEE the Thunder kind of hate life right now because of that Steven Adams contract.
Even 4/85 is massive overpaying I personally wouldnt even go a dollar over 80 wtf Honestly even 12M per year reasonable considering he didnt do aquat against GSW. All the stats he put up against non-GSW teams dont really mean anything Harden and Cp3 will win those games anyway. Morey should learn from Anderson never overpay non-superstars.
Why is Capela's agency negotiating like this is his last chance at a big payday? It's not, he might get maxed out on his next contract. But they can't expect teams to pay him the max for having one great season in a contract year. I would say teams aren't that dumb but Zach Lavine just got 20mil a year while barely even playing.
He signs for around 4.5M this year and becomes unrestricted next year. If Capela's not hapoy with 4/85 then let him sign the QO, lets see how much he gets next year.
I'm sorry but this is crazy. You're only thinking about his offense. Clint is an extremely high level defender in this league. There are very few guys at his size that can switch on the perimeter and be able to stay in front of guards consistently. Clint can do that. If a player isn't a max type of guy, sure there is a price you might not be willing to pay, but this is not someone you easily let walk & assume you can replace with just anyone.
Google is your friend: https://www.google.com.sa/amp/s/roc...ract-negotiations-restricted-free-agency/amp/ I guess its 4.7M which is around 4.5 like what my original post said.
