Clutch, I know you usually start these, so feel free to create an official one, but we need to get this one going.

Ok, I really don't like random trades, but here's one a lot of folks have been talking about...

ATL IN: Ryan Anderson, HOU 2019 1st, HOU 2020 2nd
    HOU IN: Kent Bazemore

Hou gets a player that can play SG/SF and is a better fit for our switching defense and Atl gets a elite 3pt shooter and good locker room guy as well as additional picks to help in their rebuilding. We made need to add another pick as sweetener.

There we have a random trade thread for the new year.

    Atlanta, Houston, & Washington
    Atlanta: F Ryan Anderson (HOU) + G Austin Rivers (WSH) + 2019 1st HOU (unprotected) + 2020 1st WSH (top 15 protected) + F/C Chinanu Onuaku (HOU)
    Washington: F/G Kent Bazemore (HOU) + 2021 1st HOU (top 15 protected) + guaranteed 2019 ATL 2nd + 2020 2nd HOU
Houston: F/G Otto Porter Jr. (WSH)

Atlanta picks up 2 1sts for taking on salary.

Washington gets out from under luxury tax (shaves almost $20M off payroll) and gets an Otto Porter replacement in Bazemore. Plus picks up future 1st & 2nd from Htine.

Houston: OPJM is satisfied. Anderson + 2 1sts, + 2nd for OPJ? Yes, please.

    @steddinotayto @Vivi @pippendagimp spread the word! ;)

I love your enthusiasm!!! Even though the Wizards have tons of wings I think they would rather have Bazemore than Anderson. Kudos to the forward thinking!

    Lets trade with Sac town.
Sac: gets Ryno & a draft pick
Hou: gets Iman Shumpert & Zach Randolph

We would get tougher with those 2 players and Ryno can go home. It works!

You just traded 3 or our best 6 players for an aging wimpy center and a one-year Kawhi rental. And Danny Green, whatever he's worth.

MIami is trying to offload Dion Waiters’ 3 year deal in an effort to get 2020 cap space. They have a bunch of quality role players on bad deals that run 2-3 more years.

Ryno for James Johnson and Waiters

HOU gets two rotation-worthy pieces that can shoot the rock and create off the dribble.

Miami saves $5 MM this year and next in salary obligation, and can be players in 2020 free agency when Ryno’s deal expires.

Add picks and cash as needed

Tyler Johnson is another player on an onerous deal that could be a target for us. He’s a menace defensively (Wade-like in racking up STOCKS) but is paid $17 MM the next few years.

With Johnson & Johnson (James and Tyler), we’d glide right into a top seed next year

    I’m going to get nutty.

Hou out: Capela (S&T), Anderson, Gordon, Nene, Qi, Onuaku, 2019 1st, 2021 1st and rights to Hartenstein
    -
Hou in: Butler, Dieng, Lee and Thomas

    Minny out: Butler, Dieng
    -
Minny in: Kanter(Exp), Gordon, Ntilikina, Qi, rights to Hartenstein, Hou 2021 1st

NYK in: Capela, Anderson, Nene(buyout/retire), Onuaku, Hou 2019 1st
    -
NYK out: Kanter, Lee, Thomas and Ntilikina

Minny can decide to roll with Kanter and let him expire or move him in a separate trade.

    Rockets roster

    Paul / Lee / Melton
    Harden / Green
    Butler / Thomas / Edwards
    Tucker / Anthony
    Dieng / Wright

+ vet mins, camp invites and 2way contracts.

Is Minny and NYK getting fairly compensated?
