It can be really Portland...they should be aggressive, they were aggressive with Melo too. I can see them move CJ, Collins and other pieces...those are players who should look good in San Antonio, just like Capela and Gordon btw
They have alot of good but not great players. Harris, Lou on a steal of a contract. Bev, the other point guard from over seas, I 4get his name. Gallanari... Ya not great I guess. Jerry West tho. Maybe he can make something happen.
Lakers with Lebron and Paul George aren’t any more of a contender than the Cavs were this year (they weren’t) unless their young players make big leaps.
Pat has low value, old, always injured, not a starter...Lou is also not a starter and i'd say he's not even a Spurs kind of player to begin with, but yeah, he has a very good contract, Harris is basically a younger Rudy Gay expiring, not really sure i see a good deal for the Spurs here, no 1st rounder to trade either...they drafted a couple of guards right? Well, the Spurs drafted one too few positions after those, they have Murray, White...i think the Clippers were in a better position to trade for Kawhi before the draft.
I mean, before the Draft, ppl were already talking about LAC offering Harris and the #12 and #13 pick for Kawhi.
nah, that's not the trade. Before the draft, sources were talking about Harris and the Clippers 12th and 13th pick. Tobias is mainly the salary matching piece. The feature pieces were Kawhi wants to be in LA, and Clippers have the most valuable picks available, with reason to part with them. Now, since the draft is over, they can offer a 2019 pick, too, without breaking the Stepien Rule.
I think if he's smart, he's goes to Boston. He might not be as good without that structured offense with pop. Stevens offers that too and the market is way better like he wants too I think.
I don't think Portland cares that Kawhi wants to play in LA like OKC didn't care if PG wanted to play in LA. You take the chance, make a run, and try to convince throughout the year. EDIT* I think McCollum is better than Harris and those picks.
Morey would do it if he was the kings gm. He was willing to take dwight at the deadline when dwight only wanted brooklyn. Its one of the things that made him opt in to the magic for one more year apparently lol
