The fact that Friday is a deadline is a huge point in the Rockets' favor. No reason to opt in unless he is considering a trade.

Couldn’t the lakers conceivably trade for him? Like sign PG And trade for bron vs sign bron and trade for Kawhi.

Why would they? he'll demand a players option after the 1st year and a no trade clause.

Yes but the obvious path for them is to sign them outright, not having to part with their young players. They'd only give up players for Kawhi.

They can always sign LiAngelo and have two Balls to play with. HA!

Read the post below yours. SA doesn’t need to deal Kawhi by Friday. Lebron could just go back to the Cavs at this rate and bounce next season

Hopefully SA fleeces the Lakers for all they got.

That’s sort of what I meant with my first born comment. If the Spurs agreed to acquiesce to Kawhi’s demands and send him to the Lakers, they would get exactly what they want and not anything less.

this again implies that Friday is a BIG day for LeBron. The only reason Friday would be a big day? There are a number of possibilities, but you'd think the biggest reason is because he loses his path to Houston on Saturday.

"All they got" would still not be the best offer SA could get.

Today’s leaks were to get the offers up by Boston and Philadelphia. They’re still sending him east if the deals are in the same ball park
