See, when LeBron initially said those things at the NBA Finals press conference that screamed Rockets. I had some optimism then because the Rockets had all of that "already set in place." Now, LeBron could still get that with LA, just that it isn't set in place yet. It would have to be built. If he felt it could be built then he would choose LA. That's what I think will happen.
The problem with LA is that there are two great teams that would stand in his way. He would be at serious risk to never make the Finals again
Who gives a **** how many championships he's won or how many Finals he went to as a player. What has he done as an executive (not one of those BS 'advisory roles')? If player hardware and accomplishments translated seamlessly over to the owner/GM world Michael Jordan would have one of the highest valued franchises now.
The Lakers and their fans are very unlikable. Magic, the Buss family......Perlinka,.... even their scouts are dicks. If you are winning, it can be tolerated.... but when you are mediocre, just STFU.

It's just that at this point, we should all keep in mind that everything that gets posted for the next few days will likely either be opinion or "facts" coming from unnamed sources. REAL facts from REAL sources will be scarce until LBJ (or Woj) delivers the news.
Not to mention that severe lack of playoff experience. In order to compete for a title next year, they'd have to immediately dump some young talent to bring in another experienced veteran or two. Lonzo/Kuzma/Ingram/Randle have no playoff experience and KCP and IT barely have any. Deng has a bit, but he's useless these days. Other than LeBron and George, Channing Frye would basically be the only other guy you have in your rotation with any real playoff time. That might be enough to get into the finals if you're in the East, but not in the West.
Agree totally. They did show loyalty to kirby like the Mavs with Dirk. Danny Ainge must be cackling at those whoppers while dining at his favorite Bennigans.
