That was a massive fu*k up by the ref. No way you let a player come back on the field in that situation.

The ranking is/was easy to "manipulate" if you don't play any friendlies, because only the average points of the last 12 months count. Poland played a good qualification, so they didn't risk to lower their numbers and played no official friendlies in over a year before the World Cup drawing.

FIFA recently introduced a new formula, hope that provides a more realistic ranking.

 

These refs really need to get their act together. I guess this one makes up for the Senegal goal.
