I'd rather not have someone voted as the worst ref in the league covering our game tonight either, but this doesn't mean game over. Yes he officiated Game 1 against GSW and we lost at home, but I just reviewed our Game 1 thread and there are comments about the reffing being fairly called. Doesn't seem to have been a factor against us, although Ariza will have to be careful (we can't have him out with 5 fouls again early in the 3rd). We can do this. Believe.
I remember that game. We didn't get one ounce of home court advantage that teams usually get at being home. I guess it was 'fair', but it didn't matter because the Rockets dug themselves in a big hole with their own play. My gut is that it were closely contested, their manipulation powers would've shown up, but they weren't necessary. Warriors got an actual home court benefit that last game at Oracle. Rockets deserve the same.
