Some random thoughts after reading here- my biggest concern (outside of no CP3) is the officiating. It has been ATROCIOUS and certainly won't be any better at Orafice. They have not allowed anyone to defend KD...screwing Ariza every game. We need some wasted fouls...Ryno who has been good for nothing can at least provide this. We need more scoring from Ariza who can't do it saddled with foul trouble. Jimmy and EGO need big games. ATTACK the basket...Jimmy in particular can beat his defender consistently off the dribble. We need a wildcard 18-20 performance as well...Luc, Green,JJ,PJ. Note: We are like 30-5 or something when PJ hits 4 or more 3's.Please Jimmy...stop the no look, lackadaisical passes...gotta keep TO down. It's a tall order but it is possible. The most important real estate tomorrow night will be the 6 inches between our ears.
Reactions after the Chris Paul update: My wife and I (she is the good looking one): Mike D'Antoni: Daryl Morey: Ryan Anderson: James Harden: Draymond green: Steve Kerr: Steph and Ashley Curry: Patrick McCow: Chandler Parsons Pat Beverley: PJ Tucker with (DaDakota?): :
I get where you are coming from but I think if Iggy is out again, we should consider taking a gamble with Ryno at center to see if he can hit some of his 33 ft shots on the high screen action with Harden. In addition if Hardens step back returns and Ryno is launching bombs, it will keep the lanes open for JH and EG where they can keep attacking Steph on switches. The Warriors lack of interior defense is a major point of attack when Steph, Looney, or Bell has to guard our guards. The other key will be the defense once agan. If we can get away with playing Ryno early, Capella should be able to lock down the paint the rest of the way. We then keep forcing GS to keep isoing with Durant, running him off the 3 and making him take mid-range.
Brian T Smith Don’t look like Paul will be back from what he’s hearing. But nothing is for sure. On the radio now.
Pure speculation. But, I think its obvious hes not coming back this series. I would assume target is for Game 3 of the finals. That would be almost two weeks. I think Houston has more than enough to beat GSW if the defense is what it is.
This post 100%! I just posted the same thing in another thread. Poise is key. Keep the turnovers low.
I’ve also heard another reporter say there is no way he misses game 7( if there is one). Sounds like a lot of spit balling
they are basing that on some type of "grit" thyat is irrelevant when your muscle is ripped from the bone.
Always seemed like a long shot. A 2-3-4-5 week injury and he was supposed to be back in 2-3-4-5 days? Nah. Should they advance... May 24 - suffered injury May 31 Game 1 May 31 - 1 week June 3 Game 2 June 6 Game 3 June 7 - 2 weeks June 8 Game 4 June 11 Game 5* June 14 Game 6* June 14 - 3 weeks June 17 Game 7*
There's a really informative, detailed post on reddit's r/nba that goes into CP3's injury, recovery, and game status. Not sure what the OP's background is, but he seems to be an expert on the topic. tl;dr: The guy expects him to attempt to play game 7 (if there is one). He wouldn't be 100% though.
