He steps back in what looks like an attempt to plant his feet and test his leg. He backs out of it immediately. I've had countless leg injuries, I know what testing them looks like.
What is the chance from not being able to play in 36 hours to being able to play in 72 hours with a hamstring injury. Clearly this is not a cramp. Anyone?

All the want to be doctors in this thread are cracking me up. Dude was trying with all his might to walk without a limp with cameras around, he injured. Even if he comes back, how good would a gimpy Chris Paul be. We aren’t doomed either way. Home court is huge and if we need to use it role players always step up at home on championship teams.
2017 time. Harden needs to play like an MVP and pray that the role players get hot from three. Lets pull this off
If we come back to Houston CP3 will play if he can walk I'm sure of it. I expect Harden to have a great bounce back game but he'll need significant contributions from others if we want to end the series .
Missing Game 6 is okay, as long as he's "healthy" for Game 7. Or maybe, Harden goes off, and next date is Game One.
"I used to walk real cool like my leg was broke And I still do, now I get paid from hoes, Beeitch" - Too Short
Now Harden and Gordon are going to be staggered, CP3/Harden-style. Our bench is going to be severely hurt, so the Rockets will need to either go all out on offense when Gordon is at point, or go all out on defense. I expect LMM, Joe Johnson and if the Rockets are trailing, Ryno, to see the court tomorrow. Then, depending on how LMM is doing, we'll either finish with him or Capela. In any case, these are devastating news, even more so because it looks like a serious injury for CP3, so he might be out for the remainder of the playoffs (hope I'm wrong). It'll be tough, but it was tough to begin with and the team has responded, so hopefully the role players come to play and James Harden breaks out. We have 2 games to do it, so there is hope.
All we have to do is beat them 1 more time in the next 2 games. We've already beaten them 5 times this year - way more than any other team. Had we lost the game last night, yeah, it would be totally different. It's going to be tough, but nowhere near impossible.
