If he were out for the season, and everyone on the team knows, then why wouldn't they just say it? D'Antoni just said it's too early to know for Game 7. What would be the point of leading everybody on only for disappointment?
Is it dejecting? Of course..... but in the grand scheme of things the Rockets have two chances to win one game, including a home game 7. The Rockets have won 3 of the last 4 against the Warriors and the adjustments made at the beginning of the series are starting to level out. The Rockets have a shot, and that is all you can ask for. Also, if anyone will be able to play with an injury, it is Chris Paul. Regardless of how this season ends, the Rockets have closed the gap on the Warriors and exposed them.
so by your standards no one has had a monster playoff game this year? https://www.basketball-reference.co...=41&c2stat=ast&c2comp=gt&c2val=7&order_by=pts
Is the news disheartening? Sure. But so is your defeated attitude. It will certainly be a challenge, but the Rockets can beat the Warriors one more time with or without CP3.
This is the third time (08, 09, and now 18) since the 95 season that I ha Its crazy, I was never a huge fan of dogs but I got a small pomeranian chihuahua mix for my wife about a year ago. After having one, I see just how amazing these creatures are and the bond one can form with them is truly incredible. I can only imagine how bummed Id be if I lost my dog. But know all us Rockets die hards share your pain.
If the Rockets beat the Warriors, and it is a grade II injury; he isn't necessarily out for the remainder of the season. Game 1 of the finals is May 31, 2018 Game 4 of the finals is June 8, 2018 Game 6 of the finals is June 14, 2018 So Paul would already have a week rest by game 1...... two weeks rest by game 4..... and three weeks is he plays game 6 and 7. If he has a grade II injury there is a high likelihood that he would be back for game 6/7.
Jackson Time better yet expand the bench! All hands on deck! Rockets can get the W on Saturday! Believe It!! H-Town Crazy!! Go Rockets!!
