Point is, Curry gets all the excuses. After he came back in the NO series and played well, it was "he's back and better than ever! What injury?" and when he played like garbage in games 1 and 2 of this series, it was "Curry still not 100% from knee injury." There was never anyone in the media calling him out. Harden never gets the "he might possibly be injured" angle - rather, he gets the "guess he can't flop his way to a good game in the playoffs" or "Harden just can't trick the refs, especially not in the playoffs." Curry's game is never questioned. Harden's game is forever questioned.
I understand your point. But its simply apples and oranges. If Harden was injured like Curry and came back in the middle of the playoffs but was struggling but wasn't getting the benefit of the doubt, then it is fair to say there are double standards. Well that didn't happen so we're comparing disparate things. My own take is that if any player, whether Curry, Harden, Lebron, etc just comes back from injury but is struggling, people are going to wonder if he is 100%. It happened with Isaiah Thomas. What is so hard to understand? If Harden came back from injury but struggled, I'm pretty sure fans as well as the media would wonder if he is 100% as well.
Curry had been back and played very well already in the previous series. He himself said the previous injury was no longer an issue. Your trolling fits better in the D&D forum. JVG was spot on, bless him.
I never claimed that Curry was making any excuses. I claim that there is nothing strange about wondering if a player coming back from major injury is 100%. Someone mentioned about Harden and its apples and oranges because Harden didn't come back from injury so its a stupid point to make about how he doesn't get the benefit of the doubt.
celebrevida everyone already knows you're a Warriors fan. you literally only posted in game threads all year when the Warriors played.
damn lebron has been the most consistent player in these playoffs. only scored under 25 3 times. 9 of 14 games over 50% fg%
LeBron needs to stop carrying these scrubs in Cleveland and come to the Rockets so he can carry Harden and Cp3
LeBron is awesome Dude played all 82 games and playing tons of minutes in the playoffs He never lost in the first round Ever
I wouldn't really consider myself a Warriors fan but I'm not a Warriors hater either. But regardless, your assertion is simply not true. If you mean I only post in Rockets vs Warriors game thread, then that is simply not true. If you mean I only post in game threads when Warriors play, then that is also not true. I don't post a lot in game threads period. I was curious about it myself and searched and found five threads during the season. Only one of them was Rockets vs Warriors. The other four were Rockets vs non-Warriors and 2 of the 4 were when Warriors weren't playing. I posted in 1/15/2018 thread Rockets vs Clippers. I posted in 1/20/2018 thread Rockets vs Warriors I posted in 1/22/2018 thread Rockets vs Heat* I posted in 1/26/2018 thread Rockets vs Pelicans* I posted in 3/9/2018 thread Rockets vs Raptors * Warriors did not play Regardless, comparing Harden not getting benefit of the doubt vs Curry getting the benefit of the doubt makes no sense unless Harden was also coming back from injury and wasn't getting that same benefit. If that happened then I concede the point but I don't recall that ever being the case regarding Harden.
I've been trying to get this across to people. But we still have fools here that say they don't need Kyrie or Hayward.
