Refs are controlling this game. Tatum drives, contact, no call. Cavs drive and the celtics have to give them space, easy lay-up.
that was a foul. Just because you put your hands up doesnt mean it's not a foul, they low key pushing with their hips/body hard when they drive for a lay-up. It deceives the eye good.
NBA is so boring to watch now. Same stuff every year it seems. No upset potential, same teams winning. This playoffs have been atrocious
"He knows they're going at him. That doesn't mean he'll get stops on every possession but you never feel he short changes you with attention to detail or effort." - JVG on Korver's defense "If Kyle Korver blocks your shot, particularly twice, there should be a penalty box that you immediately go to."
yep, heard that. thought the same thing. thinly disguised slap at . . . well, fill in your favorite player who you sometimes feel short changes you with attention to detail or effort.
SMDH.... People cheering for LeBron to lose, saying they want new blood in the Finals.... THEN, same breath, saying they want the Warriors to win. Haters are so weak, it's embarrassing.
and the officiating was decent to good in this series until tonite, when the league sent in foster. the players hate him, the coaches hate him, the fans hate him, he's been voted worst ref in the league according to LA Times -- and yet the league keeps assigning him to big games.
JVG finally puts 2 and 2 together about defensive switching and the rise of iso basketball. Always 10 years behind in terms of offensive thinking.
honestly this game has been officiated way fairer than last night. celtics have actually shot more free throws than the cavs. the refs last night were ******** on the rockets even down 30.
JVG calling out the media - "when Curry shoots bad, he's injured. When he plays well he's good. James Harden doesn't get that"
JVG commenting on the Curry injured/Curry's awesome media conspiracy narrative. "James Harden doesn't get that treatment." right.
JVG preaching the truth about Curry and his injury excuse when he plays like crap. Also, defending Harden for not getting the same treatment. +100 bonus points for JVG.
JVG just asked why whenever Curry has a bad shooting night it's because he is hurt. Asked why Harden doesn't get that same benefit of the doubt in the media. Breen quickly moves on to something else.
Harden didn't just come back from injury but Curry did. Why would Harden get the benefit of the doubt of an injury that he isn't currently recovering from?
