It’s probably same amount of games since we kept winning in 5. Usually he plays 7 game series.

Good thing we don't play until Sunday. He will be good to go.

Cmon with the speculation stuff yall.

If it turns out to be that, we can cry about it then, but maybe it was just a bad cramp and as mentioned he had 5 fouls and the game was out of hand thus he sat.

Didn’t get the best look at it, but it looked like a roller. Usually when it’s a sprain or tendinitis, they try to do eccentric calf stretches and foam rolling to loosen the calf up. Let me clarify my original post and say it’s definitely not a torn Achilles, but either a sprain or flare up of tendinitis.

It may not even be achilles tendonitis. Regardless given he has had a bad hamstring it makes sense he'd also have a tight achilles. But a bunch of ice and proper stretching should make him ok for Sunday

Hoping for the best! Achilles soreness can be ready for game IF it's just soreness and tightness. Go Rockets!!

Since we haven’t seen this flare up before (maybe in practice in the past?), it should be good to go after some extensive calf/hamstring work and ice. But this is an injury that tends to stay with you, and often exacerbate, once you start to get that initial degenerative changes in the achilles.

I’ve never seen a guy happier and walking around with swagger while 10lbs of ice is wrapped around his leg.

CP3 was probably like, that b**** Curry faked a limp in the 3rd quarter so the media would chalk up his **** game to injuries. **** that, put some ice on my leg to play mind games with 'em.

In the regular season Paul would rest it. This is one of those "scares" you guys always talk about... when in reality it's just pain. They'll give him some pain meds via iv or something and he'll be good to go.

if it were a tear he'd be on the floor in pain... if it were partial he would've limped back to the locker room.

looked more like soreness or cramping. i noticed they cut is compression shorts so possibly cramping.

4 days of rest and recovery will have him ready for 2 games in 3 nights. then another big rest coming up for game 5.
