i don't understand why teams don't try to trap and double lebron now like they do harden.

there is noone else on that team you can trust to win a game for the cavs.

 

LeBron's supporting cast this year can be shut down a lot easier than year's past. A more seasoned team would have swept Cleveland already.

even when cleveland is finally on, they're off. started 6-9 on 3's. now 6-18. i thought indy should feel good about leading by 3 after the 1st because cleveland made so many 3's, now it feels like they should be disappointed being up only 10. oladipo's over here scissor-kicking on banked in shotclock-beating 3's, the pacers have more ft attempts, fewer turnovers, and more offensive rebounds. i don't think it's going to matter because cleveland is usually holding on in the second half, not coming back. i think cleveland actually likes both teams struggling more than both teams hitting shots. lebron will generate offense by default, cleveland's D can't handle a team that is playing well.

i think lebron mentally checked out on the oladipo 3 that made it 15 to start the half. he's not driving, take weird jumpers, making sloppy passes for turnovers, is sorta trying but not that much on defense. i think he figured the cavs can only win if it's close and he's superhuman, kevin love was still awful, they still can't make a 3, and there's no point in wasting the energy for this game. considering indy is better, the cavs have done well to lose 2 blowouts and win 3 close games.
