Teoscar Hernandez would sure look good with Springer and Reddick. He’s turned out to be a very good player for Toronto.

 

Yeah Laz Diaz sure jacked his pitch count up. I think the 5 run inning kind of messed JV up having to sit in the dugout so long.

 

Strike 3 to Reddick didn't look like a strike.

I think actually he will be fine after a relatively quick inning. That extended layoff got to him I think. He didn’t seem to have the location he had in the prior inning.

So in his regular season as a Houston Astro Verlander in about 1/3 a season has an era of 1.10 and is 7-0.

In the playoffs last year he was 4-1 for the Astros.

Think that trade worked out well? I believe Detroit is still paying part of his salary too.
