The frustrating thing about Gerald is that he's got the size, athleticism, and handles to put the ball on the floor, and drive to the basket. But so far in a Rockets uniform, he's relegated himself to being a catch-and-shoot 3 point specialist. His shot selection is the worst on the team right now, and while I love the energy he's brought to the team, I wish he would pump the brakes a little bit, and let the game come to him.

This is why Joe Johnson gets minutes over Gerald Green...Joe Johnson is a smart basketball player and even if he's not hitting shots, he can stick in a few good passes and isn't susceptible to going out of control. When Green is hitting his shots, he's great and the best pick-up in the world, but he has plenty more moments of out of control bad defense. Everyone should expect to see Joe Johnson get playing time again in lieu of Green when Johnson recovers from his illness.

Now you see why Joe Johnson gets playing time over him. Mike D knows JJ, know what he brings, he knows what to expect when he's on the court, and JJ is a smart player even if he isn't hitting his shots.

Green's defense has been decent. Each time he's played he's made some good defensive plays

He is not playing well but he's been better than Joe Johnson. +/- numbers bear that out.

I was hoping that Joe would have retained at least some athleticism from the last season. After all, he did score 21 points to take Utah to victory over the Clippers. He only played 35 games this season, I believe before coming to Houston. He is just too slow to be out on the court. Keep things simple for him, a few corner 3's, is all that I expect from him at this point.

Probable usually means they play. Which is good cuz we need Capela tomorrow night. Let him rest against Dallas on Sunday.

Wright is a joke. How did he play 10mins and have to rest 10+ games? Could we cut the glass man, and to sign Bogut?

He's alright, but he rarely defends a player that has the ability to scorch us.

Its pretty much the same thing besides Clint Capela and he's probable. I think we have to live with this because there's no price you can put on good health. I think the medical staff has proven their worth over the years and I like what I'm hearing about Wright's status and you can bet they're playing things conservative with regards to Anderson. We can simply afford to let Joe Johnson relax and take it easy. We have good depth at his position. Harden and CP3 aren't playing any more than they did when those guys were healthy. Its basically Tucker, LMAM, and Green who are getting the minutes not used on Anderson and Johnson. I think Wright hasn't been around long enough for his minutes to matter when lost, but I think if Wright's knee thing can get taken care of soon then he'll be a great addition not just for the end of the season but for the playoffs and people will see quick.

I get it, everyone saw Andrew Bogut play on the Warriors in their championship season and he was the former #1 overall pick. That doesn't mean he's a good fit for the Rockets. Wright is going to be fine, relax people.
