    One important take is that LeBron has now been fired as defacto GM or co-GM.

    Colby Altman has established himself as full and sole GM.

    But LeBron is still defacto HC or co-HC for as long as Tyronn Lue is there to act as his defacto assistant HC.

    They definitely got better but let's not jump the gun on them being anything considered close to the top tier. They still have a lot to prove and now it's the honeymoon period with these new players so take it with a grain of salt. Pistons had a little streak going with Blake and their whole team was hyped, but now that excitement had died down, they're falling off.

    To be fair Lebron the GM didnt want Kyrie traded for Thomas, that was all Altman and Gilbert. In a way these moves are just Altman fixing his mistakes during the offseason.
