No way we take on a WORSE contract than what Ryan Anderson has. Batum would have to decline his 27.3 Million player option to even consider that exchange.
I would love to see Batum as this team's PF. Would be a great match with Durant/Warriors too. We need a dynamic 4, and even though Batum is a bit undersized for it, he would take this offense to another level, and will probably improve our defense too. The PF position is shrinking anyway, he's already capable of facing over 80% of the starting PF's in this league comfortably. If all it costs is Anderson, Troy, Onuaku and a 2nd then let's do it but I really doubt the Hornets would. They would probably want to swap Gordon and Marvin as well, but I don't know if I'd be ok with that.
Anderson alone might be enough to appease MJ roster appetite. If we still had Dekker that be the icing on the cake
It costs you lebron. Batum makes more money than Ryan Anderson on a longer deal. Come on people. Anderson cost us Melo. You seriously think Morey will compound his mistake?!
Yes sir. I'm in the crowd that believes we're a Batum away from beating the Warriors. We don't NEED Lebron, but we would LOOOOOOVE to have him. If it's easy we do it we do it but I find it extremely complicated for him to end up here. The scenarios looks unrealistic to me. Batum would do it. They wouldn't be able to guard us and if the commitment is there we can guard them well. This team just needs to wake up defensively.
Lmao. NOBODY is a Batum away from beating the Warriors. Batum is shooting 28% from 3pt range. We begged to get rid of career 28% Corey Brewer and you want him back at the expense of a Lebron opportunity?! That’s crazy talk. GTFO. If you said an Avery Bradley away, I’d agree.
Soooo... you agree we need a better defense coach. Brad Stevens took a new roster and made them #1 on defense. Hopefully we make a few tweaks at the trade deadline to address our lack.
