i guess you're right. we could use a backup tho after cou left. i can't count on durability for our mids. don't know how long salah can last until he gets knocked a bit. defense is a problem tho. it's been a problem since the fat spanish waiter left. no one could fix.
It's a shame because they really are enjoyable to watch. There's no excuse for some of their idiocy in the defensive third, though. They make it so incredibly hard on themselves. They're last year's Rockets. They can score with the best...but they couldn't defend their way out of a paper bag.
last year (and to an extent this year) was incredibly frustrating.... pretty sure LFC finished w the best record against the top 6 but routinely turned in disastrous results against table bottom-feeders. infuriating mental lapses on the defensive end which like you said is a damn shame for a team as explosive and fun to watch on the offensive end. any chance keita makes it over this month?? would love to see some additional midfield depth and solidify a top 4 finish. grotezka or lemar would certainly be a welcome addition and decent use of that coutinho windfall.
Way to go Rafa Benitez. Haha And Mourinho does not do well with certain players. Sanchez going at the Special One.
O Jogo saying Bayern is in negotiations with this guy, would be an interesting prospect for the right-wing. He's playing for a Portugese club, so maybe we could package Renato in the deal. Liverpool also heavily interested tho.
Dun really think Mou and United can win it this year. The D is nice but O is far from the level of Pool, Spurs or City.
I would not recommend Mkhi as a fantasy option right now but he has all the tools to stay in the Premier League. Chelsea has hijacked Obi Mikel from United in the past. Lol anything can happen.
Not yet finalized. Sanchez would go to ManU on a 4yr deal and 16mil salary. Deal will only come true if Micki joins Arsenal, so it would indeed be a player swap.
Real looking to clean house and go after Neymar? Report says they might be looking to move Ronaldo, Bale, and Benzema to make room for Neymar and possibly Hazard.
And Zidane, sadly. I imagine that they're prepared to get even less than Liverpool got for Coutinho for Ronaldo. They have to be. Imagine a team paying 200 million for a 33/34 year-old winger who relies very much on athleticism and whose stardom is fading off the field. Then add to that that he wants Messi money. That's unpossible and impossible. For you guys that have seen more than I have, am I off in thinking that Ronaldo can extend his prime at striker? Bale, there's still hope for, but his body is steady betraying him. Benzema, so much disappoint, but wouldn't surprise me if he finds success as a second striker. I would be ecstatic to have Neymar on the team. I don't care that he played for Barcelona. I just don't see how.
From a marketing, value and actually any standpoint, Paris would be dumb to let Neymar Jr. go in just one or two seasons. They could sell his jersey 5 to 8 years. There aint many young superstars left, I think even if they let Marco Asensio and another talent transfer it would be far from enough. They dun have enough talents and Paris would be damned to take back 29-30+ year olds.
