City 4:0 on 79% possession vs Swansea lmao, talk about a beating. Pretty sure Clement will be sacked.
He was a key part of Spain winning WC and European Championship of national teams. 2008, 2010 and 2012. He just had some above mediocre years after that. Was pretty great at Valencia, his alma mater.
More Sanches news: Several outlets saying Bayern will indeed terminate the loan (as I predicted). I however didn't know about the specific UEFA rules, Bayern can't loan him out again until next season. Edit: The rules are even more harsh, we can't even sell him this season as players are only allowed to play for two teams/season and he already played for us in Supercup. So he'd definitely have to stay with us until July. I actually thought about this yesterday, in his current situation Jupp is probably the best coach in the world to give the guy some confidence and also knows how to handle prospects. If Jupp isn't able to bring the guy into some decent shape, Sanches is probably gone in July. Edit: Jupp just commented on this and said he recently told Salihamidzic to take more care of the loaned-out players, but doesn't know if the rumor about Sanches rejoining is true. Stated he's been following Sanches since his Benfica days, but that in general it is very difficult to receive playing time in Bayern's stacked midfield.
It's too much hype, like Lonzo Ball. I dun know much about that dude other than that he had nice stats at a 1 month tourney. Lonzo is at least a regular starter.
Just gotta watch Sanches and Lonzo outside their bust periods, both have a unique skillset and above average ball-iq that makes them really rare players if they pan out. Both tend to see situations develop before most other players, so you'll see some very special moments. They both have shown a great level at one point, so most scouts tend to agree that they'll become great players once they are more experienced and confident. With Lonzo, the draft spot was completely acceptable to me, but people though too much of him (next Magic bs) because of the r****ded BBB and Lavar statements.
I really did not see many Portuguese matches, only part of semi and Finals. And some highlights with only CR7. The only young guy I like is upcoming Andre Silva. And Cutrone. Score easily.
That's football. In one moment you're furious at James Rodriguez for wasting a clear chance in an amazingly arrogant way, in the next Ulreich becomes your hero for saving a 90th minute penalty.
It's the third 1-0 in a row now, not enough for us spoiled Bayern fans. But seriously - I'll take it. Bayern is not playing well these days, still up 11 points. Not too shabby regarding the situation back in October.
Dele Alli crunches KDB, should have been sent off. KDB promptly gets up and a minute later smashes one into the net.
City just destroying Tottenham out here. 3-0 and it could easily have been 4-0 if Jesus hadn't doinked his penalty.
I do not understand their tactics in this game at all. Poch should at least try and set up a counter with Eriksen playing further up. With Anderwielirleiidleirleireldleidld still out they don't have the anchors to sit back.
Salihamidzic saying Bayern will make a Sanches decision in the next days and that they want a better development for him and Bayern. Sounds indeed like they'll terminate the loan.
