    Cameron Oliver underwent surgery to repair his fractured right hand on Monday, and he'll be sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks.

    Medical Update on Rockets Forward Cam Oliver

    HOUSTON – Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that forward Cam Oliver underwent surgery to repair a fractured right hand. Dr. Matthew Koepplinger of Memorial Hermann performed the surgery. Oliver will be re-evaluated in approximately four to six weeks.

    i wonder what this means for our final roster cuts. i remember we had to keep a player on a few years ago to make sure he kept receiving medical insurance

    Damn...was really hoping any news I saw about Oliver would be more like, "undrafted rookie turns heads, makes strong case for roster spot."

    I read that they can't sign him to the vipers because they gave him more than 50,000 in guaranteed money

    I think his skill set is a fit for us as a utility glue type player playing off of our established players. I was hoping for a Robert Horry type, but it is to late now. I really liked him and wish him only the best.
