Because he is. Just look, you don't have to believe me...just look at what he's accomplished. Save 2015, he's Kevin Walter. Sure, he makes a flashy grab now and then...

His stats dont suggest elite WR, yet he is paid and lauded as an elite WR. That's why.

I too think he was overpaid, but I am glad for him. Get all you can. I don't think he is as good as most other elite receivers in the NFL like Bryant, Beckham, etc.

    QB makes a big difference

If he was playing with one the last 4 years....

Instead of the 9 different imposters the stood behind the center.

Last year being the worst of course.

Now let's see if Savage and Watson can do the job

It's always someone else's fault with him.

He said SB teams. Not contenders. And who are the contenders according to you?

Nice stats. I saw the bump and expected hopkins contracts leprosy, career over post. Football gods have me paranoid.

Deandre is more talented than Andre ever was. Amazing stats considering his QBs. At least he has one now....next season at lteast

Huh? Based on what? Hopkins is great but I think Andre was better. Hopkins makes tougher catches but Andre was faster, stronger and ran better routes

In terms of raw talent, Andre Johnson has DeAndre beat pretty handily. He was bigger, stronger, and more technically sound. It's not a knock on DeAndre whatsoever, but Andre Johnson was an absolute BEAST.

Pretty good for a guy that was causing interceptions all last year.

I'm also one that believes Hop was levels better than AJ. Hop is clutch and AJ wasn't. Only clutch moment I can remember from AJ was the Redskins game. Hop already has so many clutch game winning moments it's crazy.
