Since we all know the Texans are Toast this season. I would like to know who yawls second favorite team is in the NFL. Mine is the Los Angeles Rams. I remember seeing the Rams growing up in Indiana watching the Super Bowl on my 13 inch black-and-white TV in 1979 against the Steelers. It broke my little heart. I was nine years old at the time. My mom was into horoscopes when I found out for the first time that I was an Aries. When I saw their helmet on the field I was hooked. I had Rams everything when I was a kid. To this day my favorite player on the Los Angeles Rams will forever be Eric Dickerson! Vince Ferragamo, Jim and Jack Youngblood, Drew Hill and many more will always be entrenched in my mind.
Please don't look at the merchandise below because that was created by a woman owner who liked gold. I hated when they left LA and created that new color scheme. It made me want to puke. I am so glad the team is back in LA and sporting the blue and yellow of old. The Rams also were the first team to go after Olympic track and field wide receiving superstars that our beloved Texans do now, and most of the NFL has been doing sense.
Seriously? I could have written this OP except I'm a few years older and was a hard core Steelers fans even while liking the Rams. Prior to the game, I was 100% sure the Steelers would win. When they trailed 19-17, I was pretty worried. Where in Indiana are you from? I'm from Indy, a Purdue graduate and moved to Houston 31 years ago.
I was born in Valporaiso Indiana. My parents move down here when I was 11. Although I've lived in other parts of the country for short periods of time, I've lived most of my adult life here in Houston Texas. Yankee born Texan bred
On topic: I'm still bummed by DW's injury and didn't watch any NFL last week. It felt good and I'll continue on and see how it goes. Don't have a #2 right now.
Eagles. Was born in Philly and my dad is still a fan. If I'm going to pull for anyone, it'll be them.
