That's awful. Why anyone would sit that close with a kid escapes me. I'm a man, I'm 40, and I still take a glove if I know I'll be in the dangerzone.
Roy Halladay was a throwback to the days when starting pitchers took the mound expecting to fininsh. He didn't have the complete game numbers from pitchers in the 80's and before but he was always one of my favorite because he finished more than most. rip doc
Once sat in a similar area in Milwaukee with my 3 kids. It scared me. I loved the seats, but never again that close with the kids. Have to install netting or ban people under a certain age (14-18?) from sitting in those seats.
