JVG was amazed how undervalued guys like him are...the focus is still way too much on offense in terms of contracts and value, but at the media truly acknowledges and gives credit to guys like Mbah, Tucker, Tony Allen, Battier, Ariza, Beverley etc.
he was never known as a leader he now basically followed to the T MDA's instructions and Harden's example of 3s, layups, and no midranges (you know the Rockets stubborn strategy you always whine about)
LOL. How can one slob on lmm and not credit dantonis offense and hardens playmaking? OP is all over the place.
Nope. He’s leading in all aspects by example, unlike Harden. He works off the ball and cuts, definitely not instructed by MDA. He also doesn’t overdo it on his threes. Nice try
so he's the leader of this team and not harden? hate is as strong as @swyyyguy @Progs @Know Your Role LOL this guy isn't even more imporatant than Ariza or Ryno he's a corey brewer type role-player and very good at it just accept it
He might be considered the leader, but he doesn’t lead by example in all aspects of the game. Big difference. Harden is our best player, our star and wins us plenty games. I would like him to follow Mbah’s example though, all players on the team should. The lowest paid and one of the most efficient guys, top defenders and doing everything he can to win games. Harden and some others don’t have that in them all the time.
so you think LMM and Ego both shoots 3's more effectively than harden? who do you think the Rockets 2nd best 3 pointer is? and you think MDA is wrong and should be playing LMM more minutes than Ariza and RYno?
He reminds me of what year 2 Parsons used to be for our team. -defensive minded forward -shoot respectably from 3 -can dribble/drive/pass (point forward) -high bball iq -believes that they are a prince (true in only Luc'a case)
Where did I mention Gordon? Yes, Mbah takes smarter and more efficient threes. Harden is simply more talented. Ariza is of the same mold as Mbah and getting older, so perhaps, but that’s not the point. Stop detracting.
Haha right on. Mbah is actually that player they searched for when replacing Parsons, the last of the Big 3
