[Unofficial 2017 World Series] Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Dodgers

Sometimes, when bored at work, I go into other team's forums.. but just to see how they react to the game, and post some of their comments back here. I never post in other forums.

 

So who pitches Friday, Saturday, and Sunday? I'm mainly trying to see the next time Keuchel and Verlander will be up. Would Dallas go Game 4 and Verlander go Game 5 and then Morton Game 6 and then Keuchel Game 7? hypothetically. Trying to decide whether to buy game 5 tickets or not.

 

Fangraphs has a complicated set of spreadsheets you can download that takes everything into account, or u can google and get a general win expectancy calculator that won’t take into account the stadiums and pitchers and stuff like that, but it’s faster.

 

Anybody trying to get the fitted new era World Series patch hats better head on down to the store at Minute Maid Park. They got a few shipments apparently today and they’re loaded. Just picked up 4

And their manager got out coached and they lost home field and to lose by 1 is harder than by 5 bc they were SO close

 

So you would give Dallas and Verlander 5 days rest instead of 4? I don't know why you wouldn't bring Dallas out Saturday and Verlander out Sunday to try and clinch at home. Assuming we win Friday.

No...if Keuchel pitches game 4 (Saturday), he would be pitching on three days rest. Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Darvish has almost always been excellent in Houston, even the last two years. The Astros have gotten to him, but it was mostly up in Arlington.

It was on fox 26. They cut away though because the reporter was getting scared... there was some **** going on on camera... But from what she said it sounded like it was worse behind the camera man.
