You do what you have to do in order to play Tuesday even if it means burning the entire pitching staff and having to add Martes to the roster to pitch the opening game.

Your last sentence makes absolutely no sense. Each team has to do whatever it takes to win tonight.

    Hypothetical situation for @what...

    1. Keuchel gets bought in, leads Astros to victory, but tweaks his neck and is out for the WS (but back healthy for 2018).

    2. Keuchel left in the bullpen which subsequently blows a lead and Astros lose.

    Which scenario would you choose?

Like most of us here, Ive been tainted by all the disappointment over the years by what Houston sports has offered us to the point that I would never let myself get to excited about anything anymore.

I've decided that this is game 7 and I'm going to let myself go. I'm going to enjoy this to the last out win or lose. It's time for the baseball God's to shine on us. Let's do this Houston. Let's kick some stankee azz!

All i am saying is dont get keuchel tunnel vision. Keuchel might last 2 innings, might and it might not be run-free innings.

I must have misread. For clarity, did you choose scenario 1 or scenario 2?

I said dont get tunnel vision which means i completely understand that winning by any means is the most important thing, but going overboard and being too hell bent on making game 7 a lets throw verlander out there, is self destructive as well.
And my overall point is that just getting to the world series but getting swept doesnt appeal to me.
They could pitch dallas and still give up runs.

Listen bruh- you get to the WS no matter what or how.

Worry about the WS tomorrow morning after a Houston win. Otherwise you may just go fishing.

Agreed. That's how game 7 works. That's why everyone, even fans of other teams LOVE game 7. You expect to empty the cupboard and see EVERYONE. It's the best thing in sports, win or go home.

I think my brother may have won tickets to tonight's game. Lucky SOB.

If I lived in Houston, I'd be going with him. Unlucky SOB.:(

Man..I must be incredibly dense because I just cannot find what you chose.

Because I am so dense could you please reply with either choosing scenario 1or scenario 2? I honestly don’t see what is so hard about that.
