A couple of things. I tried the ransonware feature on my microsoft word document folder, and all it did was block me from saving my documents. If i cant even save a document that i am working on, what good is it? Unless i am doing something wrong? Also, sure i can make word a trusted app, but then i might as well not have the ransomware enabled in thr first place. Secondly, i still dont understand the on demand feature in onedrive. Heres what i dont get, every time i want to use a file it downloads the file to my computer. Also, if i want to backup my onedrive folder, do i need to have all my docs downloaded? If they are online only, will my back program only save a thumbnail rather than the actual file? If somebody understands this, explain to me how i can use a document that is online only without actually downloading the file? Or am i not understanding something?
All I know is I had to get corporate IT to do a system restore first thing in the morning last week to get it to boot correctly after staying late the day before to let the update run, and there was a long line.
I did notice that the bootup time was mindnumbingly slow. Also i have no idea who would want to use mixed reality. I want to like this update but half the stuff in it wasnt built for me.
