Not currently signed to a roster. Capable of running the 1 or 2 guard position. How do you guys feel about bringing him in? Not to fill in for recent Chris Paul injury, but to help with guard play down stretch of the season. He and Eric Gordon of the bench could be something worth looking at.
What did he really have to play for in the Eastern conference? Also played with an All Star in Paul George that didn't want to be on the team.
His career? Maybe he'd be on a roster making money if he weren't too cool to play in the Eastern conference. Anyway, he's a career 31% shooter from downtown that could never play defense and chucked his way to some gaudy stats. Hard pass.
Ellis is a guy that needs to jack up 20 shots to feel effective. He's a Westbrook poorboy without the assists and rebounds or even defense.
Yes too Monta! Why? He is not afraid to take it to the (harry) Hole! With our shooters he will have many opportunities to take it to the lane! Could be could for him and our snipers put there! And when the Rockets are having their iconic no scoring stretches this guy is not afraid to try and score!
I agree with both of you guys. He is the best FA on the market. And I will gladly **** myself beside you fine gents
I like him and even tho he is inefficient I feel he is the best available option bcause of his ability to penetrate and push pace. Your deep backups are typically going against other teams backups and the best way to operate offense and exploit defense is thru transition. Having that extra guy that can catch defense on it's heels or penetrate and kick it out to a shooter is more valuable, IMO, than a good shooter or older and slower traditional point.
he's inefficient on offense and at the same time like lou williams on D. i really hope we don't waste our time with him. shoots 3's at a low clip, can't run a team, can't defend, and not the best chemistry-wise. i do agree that pretty much all other options out there seems to suck just the same though
Jameer Nelson just signed with New Orleans. Not too many great options on the table. I say at the vet. min we should give it a try with your open roster spot.
Maybe it could set a fire under his arse to being on a championship team and he do whatever it takes to be a team player and win...
