And why? Because our forwards can't drive past people! Melo would've make our offense much more dynamic

    That's sad then .

About half of his statements have been false.

First he says houstons offense is all about 3's , then he says it's all about layups .

Memphis isn't "taking away" our 3's ... We are bricking a lot of open ones . (As well as taking some bad ones I admit)

They aren't "forcing turnovers " we've been making sloppy passes.

I just think he incorrectly attributes a lot of outcomes .

rockets look like they ate dinner at Landry's, and Memphis looks hungry tonight.

I have no doubt Rockets will be an elite offense. I want to see what they have learned from the playoff debacle. What happens when the 3 is not falling. Do they utilize CP3's talent or just continue to launch?

Shooters launch threes, that's what they do. Not sure why you keep wanting to jam a round peg through a square peg. CP3 will be the engine to run the offense when Harden's fails or vice versa.

If we have no back-up plan other than jacking up threes every single time no matter how we are defended, this team is going nowhere. Hey, that worked out well in the playoffs, didn't it?

We are really playing OK , we just aren't sharp .

When your shots aren't falling the bad decisions stand out more .. And we've made a couple of those .

But I would say , we've blown more open layups and bricked more open threes and bobbled more balls than we have taken contested threes and made mistakes

I can almost guarantee that the Rockets aren't planning for their playoff situations in preseason games, and likely not even in the early regular season games. We won't know what adjustments they'll have in the playoffs until the playoffs.

For the regular season, though? This offense will largely be the same, as it should be, as it was one of the best of all time.

Harden, Paul and Gordon, all scorers have a bad night.

I don't think running a play to get some one a basket closer to the rim when the offense is stagnant is "jamming a round peg in a square hole."
